This black gate latch will give you the extra security that you are looking for.
Gate latch with a Black finish. All mounting hardware is furnished.
Gate latch is opened from out side by drilling a hole through the post and attach wire from latch to a pull ring (not supplied). Self-latching: Release by raising latch. Insert padlock into hole in the latch for extra security.
Base: 1 3/4" x 1 1/2"
Latch: 1 3/4" tall x 2 1/8" deep
Latch Rod: 4" x 3/8" diameter
For gates and doors for gardens, patios and sheds. Easily fixed to open from the outside and can be secured with a padlock. Liberty Hardware
