Measurements in description are inaccurate

“I was thrilled to find champagne bronze insert hinges to match my new champagne bronze pulls in the kitchen. The measurements in the description matched my old hinges, so i thought everything was good. The hinges are very pretty and a perfect color match. But the holes don’t line up with my old hinges. The measurements on the actual new hinge are off just a hair, but enough that they don’t work without modification. Had to fill all the old holes with epoxy, sand, stain, and then drill new holes. The screws that come with the hinges are not as sturdy or long as the ones from my hinges bought in 1985. But like everything else, these new ones are made in China. Got 35 years out of the old ones before the springs started breaking. Hoping to get at least 15 years from these, but I’mretty sure they won’t last 35.”
